In this one time class, students will practice recognizing and reading their second grade Dolch Sight Words. Each student will then get a chance to read the words on the screen independently and/or with teacher assistance. Students will also practice using their sight words to create different sentences. Students will read sentences such as "Mario is ALWAYS in red. The genie gave me one WISH. Elsa likes to SING" etc. Students will receive their BINGO card shortly after signing up! Learning Goals
Students will practice recognizing and reading their second grade DOLCH sight words. Students will gain confidence and fluency in reading.
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students in this class should be able to read CVC and CVCe words independently (as these will be used in the sentences along with first and second grade sight words). Students should be at a first or second grade reading level.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
