Class experience
This is a beginner to intermediate knitting class, students need to know the basics of knitting like casting on, knit and purl stitch, and bind off. If you do not know these skills, please try out my beginner knitting class and learn these basic skills needed for knitting this cowl. In this Class, students will learn the knit and pear stitch, knitting in the round, ribbing stitch, binding off. I am a homeschool mom of 20+ years. I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology. I also have been knitting for 20+ years. I love knitting and I use this skill as a way to relax everyday.

Parents need to be sure they provide materials for their student. Students will need yarn, either cotton or acrylic in worsted weight, knitting needles sizes, 7, 8 (this is to help them learn about gauge and finding the size needle that is best for them. I recommend circular needles as this is easier for students to handle. stitch markers, scissors, and printed pattern provided by the teacher. Links will be provided below of all that is needed so you can order ahead of time.
