Class experience
In this class students will learn the next step in learning to knit. This will include learning the purl stitch. Students should have a knowledge already of how to cast on, knit, and bind off a project. We will review in this class these skills in class. I am a veteran homeschool mom for 20+years. I have been knitting for 15+ years. I have taught many individuals knitting in my local yarn shop. I have a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management, and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology. I have a passion for knitting, and love doing this in my past time. I believe that knitting provides hand eye coordination skills, and skills of creating and making usable things.

Parents are encouraged to be nearby to help with students physical challenges in holding needles and yarn. This is the part I can't do as a virtual teacher. Some students will need more help than others. Parents are also encouraged to be sure to provide materials for students before class starts.
