In this class students will learn the beginning steps of knitting and at the end of this class have a knitted dishcloth/washcloth.

In this class students will learn the beginning steps to learning to knit. This will include casting on stitches, knit stitch, binding off and finishing off project. This dishcloth project a great beginner project if your student is wanting to learn to knit. This class is paced at the level of each student and every student will be given the time they need to feel comfortable with the learned skills of knitting. If students are unable to complete the project in the class time, I am able to offer private tutoring time to help them complete their project get the help they need. Students will need the following items to learn to knit a washcloth. You can find these in your local yarn store, or you can order online, links provided for you to see what I am referring to and/or you can order from. Parental Guidance
Parents are encouraged to be nearby to help with students physical challenges in holding needles and yarn. This is the part I can't do as a virtual teacher. Some students will need more help than others. Parents are also encouraged to be sure to provide materials for students before class starts.
