Hello!  My name is Amber and I would love to be your child's teacher!  In my classroom, your child will have fun learning and making friends in a relaxed setting.  
      I have a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in child development.  I also have a TESOL certificate for teaching students of other languages.  For the last 25 years I have loved planning and teaching lessons and leading activities for young children in preschools, elementary schools, libraries, churches, and online classrooms.  
      I am a patient, kind, and encouraging teacher. I have a warm and friendly personality that helps children feel welcome, cared for, and comfortable. I am supportive of my student's efforts and am very positive throughout each class.  I will help your child learn and adjust to the class without making them feel pressured to perform.  My goal is to put them at ease and help them gain confidence in themselves.  I have hundreds of teaching materials, toys, and props that I use with my lessons to make the classes interesting and fun for the children. I am able to keep my students engaged during the classes so they look forward to each new class!

     I am a married mother of 2 children.  We have 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 fish, and 1 hamster.  They sometimes make guest appearances in my classes!  :-)
