Learning the alphabet/ABCs for preschool and ESL students

Come join me to learn the ABCs!

This class is perfect for pre-school-aged children, as well as for ESL students! 

This class is an interactive, fun, and student-driven preschool taught by a certified teacher!  Children will sing, dance, and play games to learn the English alphabet and their correlating phonics sounds!

In this class, we will cycle through the alphabet every 13 weeks.  Your student is welcome to join at the beginning of a cycle, in the middle, or even stay for several cycles!  Each class will stand alone in learning material, so your children can jump into class no matter what letter we are learning or where we are in the cycle.

Class Breakdown:
⭐️Hello song and greetings - We will start every class with a welcome song to give students time to sign on and settle into class.
⭐️Lesson - Each class will have a slide show presentation to help us learn the letter of the day.  These lessons will include letter recognition, phonics, review games, and letter tracing/writing.
⭐️Sharing Time - Students will then have an opportunity to share toys or items that start with our letter of the day as well as show their letter tracing worksheet.
⭐️Goodbyes - Each class will end with a personalized goodbye song.

CLASSROOM NOTES:
If there is only 1 or 2 students in enrolled, the class may only last 15 minutes. 

Each week there will be daily worksheets to print out.  Students are encouraged to have the worksheets ready to complete during class.  However, they are welcome to use a blank piece of paper or some type of drawing board as well to follow along.  Markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc. will be useful to have readily available during class.

I will be using the mute button at times in my class for games or to get rid of any background noise.  It is encouraged that a parent be seated with the attending child to help them unmute themselves when necessary.  However, if this is not possible, please make sure your child knows how to properly unmute themselves so they can fully participate.

For the safety and privacy of my students, I will not be sharing the recording of my lessons.  Concerns about absences or refunds can be discussed beforehand, or addressed with Outschool Support. 

Some days we will have “brain breaks” and/or other activities that involve movement.  Please make sure that the child’s workspace has room for them to move around a bit and is free of any tripping hazards.  If this is not possible, the student is encouraged to stay seated and dance while in their chair.
