Description

Class Experience

Students will come away with a better understanding of poetry, and the inspiration to continue opening their imaginations. Each week, we will leave the class with a solid new work begun, that we can continue molding as we like.
As this is an ongoing class and students are welcome to join any time, there will be no homework required from class to class. But like any skill, the more you practice, the more you'll get out of what you've learned. My goal is to make the lessons fun and instructive so students will want to continue working on their poems and playing with new ideas throughout the week.
Students should arrive to class with a way to compose their ideas, either with pen/pencil on paper or on a computer or other device.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
