Description
Class Experience
Students will be introduced to rhyming words Students will listen for manipulated onsets using their names Students will listen for manipulated onsets and match familiar colors; ex: turple rhymes with (purple) Students will listen for rhyming words in the story, "The Crayon Box that Talked" by Shane DeRolf Students will discuss the implications of the story (All of the colors are important) Students will be encouraged to draw a picture or design using at least 3 colors

Learners will need: One new or used box of 10-24 crayons containing at least the colors: purple, blue green, yellow, orange, red, black, white, pink and gray. One sheet of white drawing paper One small tray (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
