Description
Class Experience
Students will improve listening skills, reading skills, printing skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, as well as social skills.
I have worked with children in both the child care setting and in the kindergarten classroom for over ten years. I have crafted this literacy course with elements of fun and easy engagement, developing a solid foundation of letters and building skills that guide students to use letters to form words and then transfer them into well written sentences. My knowledge and expertise has allowed me to develop classes that are loved by children while providing a wealth of learning all at the same time.
For added fun and learning, each week students will be given a worksheet to practice printing the letter of the week and enjoy some coloring fun.
20 files available upon enrollmentFor this course, students will need: a few sheets of blank white paper per class, a pencil, an eraser, crayons, markers, scissors, glue and a variety of craft materials, including googly eyes, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, paint and brushes, pastels, glitter, stickers, etc. Also, please print the weekly worksheets prior to the start of class each week.
