Class Experience

In this one time class, students will learn how to apply their makeup and watch as I apply my nine step routine for an easy, flawless and natural makeup look. The two main topics that will be taught are learning the nine steps of applying makeup and how to keep a makeup look natural. During the 30 minutes I will apply and thoroughly explain the nine steps of a makeup routine:
-primer
-foundation
-concealer
-powder
-bronzer
-blush
-highlighter
-mascara
-lipgloss
The class will be structured like a tutorial and students are welcome to stop me at anytime while I apply my makeup to ask questions. After I have finished the nine steps I will dedicate the last minute or so of class to go over everything I applied and discuss how students can keep their makeup looking natural. Students can also ask questions or share any thoughts they might have during the final minutes of class.
Students do not need any prior knowledge on how to apply makeup and are not required to have any of the products I use during class.

-keep their makeup natural

Other Details

Supply List

If students like, they can follow along with the steps with any makeup product they might have (foundation, concealer, blush, etc.) but are NOT required to have or buy anything for the class. It is optional if students would like to follow along using any products they own.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have been wearing makeup for over ten years now and started my love for it when I was in high school. During college I was a freelance makeup artist for two years. I did my clients' makeup for events and also offered private classes where they could learn how to apply their makeup by themselves.
