In this ongoing class, kids will read small to medium Gujarati passages / stories (new each week), will expand their vocabulary and undertanding by answering the questions asked by me based on the passage we read in class!!

In this ongoing class, intermediate-level Gujarati students with prior exposure to the language (e.g., those who have already taken my classes or know Gujarati and want to go deeper in expanding their vocabulary) will review the fundamentals of Gujarati grammar and sentence construction, as well as vocabulary and pronunciation. This comprehensive review will help ensure that they don't lose their knowledge of the language as they learn new material in next level. We'll spend our class time in reading passages/stories in Gujarati but written in English script (and practicing pronunciation), answering reading comprehension questions, and playing fun group games and activities. Please note that every week there will be a new story / passage to work on, it might be that kids are not able to finish then it can be finished in next week. Week of August 15: Passage on Likes and Dislikes Week of August 22: Passage on Wants with verbs Week of August 29: Passage on wants and needs. Week of September 5: Thirsty crow story in present tense. Week of September 12: three little pigs in present tense Passages and stories are written & tailored by me based on what kids have been learning.
