This class is taught through Minecraft education. Play time will allow for students to complete task and adventure around while learning German vocabulary. NPCs will allow for personal interactions, instructions, and supplement learning materials. Some subjects that we will cover are: A normal day in the life of a Minecrafter - which focuses on hunting, gathering, building, and surviving in a Minecraft world Beginning of class will usually be no longer that 10 minutes going over that days set vocabulary. Meaning the words they for sure will encounter. After that we will join my Minecraft world and explore. Students can work together, stay with the teacher, or venture off alone. As their teacher I will guide them when needed and provide help with translations. Students will be able to interact with me the entire class duration. As well as be able to reach out after class if they need help.

Lesson 3 is about terms we would use when we are trying to survive the Overworld. We will learn vocabulary that is about:

Your child will need Minecraft education. Downloaded and have a license to be able to play.
They will also need access to google and YouTube. Google classroom is utilized for some of the written work due in class as well as downloads of translations and YouTube provides some of the learning materials.
