Please Note: These 2 sessions are a 'taster' of what I can offer. I am planning to run these sessions once a week on a regular basis. Classes will include a full long term overview of coverage and progression. I am a fully trained and highly experienced UK Primary Teacher. Classes will cover NC subject specific objectives. In this small group class, we will spend 4 hours together and follow a timetable of activities. 15 mins meet and greet intro 10 mins English spelling games 10 mins English Grammar 25 minute story and follow up activity Short break for snack and chat 10 minute mental maths games 10 minute times table games 20 minute maths focus learning / activity 10 minute reflection on learning Short break for snack and chat 45min science - broken up into 15 min starter activity and interactive / visual slide show, 20 minute activity 10 minute follow up 40 min art - powerslide show about a specific artist and activity to create own piece Week 1: English focus: Imagine Poem Maths focus: Place Value Science: Colour Artist - Picasso Week 2: English focus: Sample of text from Roald Dahl The BFG Maths focus: Addition and Subtraction Science: Materials around us Artist - Lowrey

I am so excited to introduce myself as an Outschool teacher. My name is Kelly and I live on the Jurrasic Coast in Devon, England, UK.
I have been inspiring students as a teacher for almost 25 years, both in school and online. My online classes are as creative and interactive as my face to face lessons, with my ethos being all about lighting the spark and developing a love for learning. I believe that learning happens best when there is engagement and enjoyment, and my classes follow this principle. Lessons are taught using fun and interactive resources. For younger learners this includes physical resources, (puppets, pictures, objects), songs, music and movements. For older students I ensure classes are visual and include full colour slides, interactive games and activities to ensure learners are engaged at all times.
In group classes, all learners are valued and given individual time to engage and respond - and I pride myself on finishing a session with each student feeling they have accomplished !
1-1 classes are bespoke and carefully planned to ensure the needs of individuals are met in an inspiring way.
