This course teaches prek, preschool, and kindergarten students their basic colors (red, blue, yellow, green and orange) and shapes (circle, square, rectangle, and triangle). It is a one-time class that uses props, song, and TPR (Total Physical Response) to engage students in class. No prior knowledge is needed. This class is fun and energetic. My teaching style is a hybrid approach. This approach means I like to blend my teaching based on my personality and each student's needs. Based on the student's intro, I am already assessing the student's needs for this one time class. Learners will interact with each other and me through song and repetition.

Hello! My name is Teacher Priscilla and I live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My husband and I have three kids, one dog and a cat. We enjoy traveling, running, rock climbing, and playing tennis together. In December 2019, I received a Masters from Iowa State in Ag Education with a specialization in Extension. I am a member of two honor societies, Golden Key International and Gamma Sigma Delta, and finished with a 3.87 GPA. I also have my TEFL and TESOL certificates and have been teaching for over 30 years at church and within my community. I believe learning is fun and strive for my classes to not only be educational, but also a place where kids smile and laugh. I currently am home schooling two of my children, plus working as an ESL Teacher with VIPKid. When I am not busy at home, I am helping my kids with their after school activities.
