Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Young learners will learn some simple Chinese food vocabularies, and learn how to count and write Chinese numbers in a fun and easy way without any required experience or knowledge needed in Chinese. I will be using cute and interesting food pictures to teach learners to do math as well. They can improve their math skill and also learn a new language. This is an introductory class. If learners find it interesting and like to have more similar study, I will be offering more ongoing classes to help them get into the next level.

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from University of Washington
Hello Outschool learners, learning does not have to be hard, and you don’t have to learn one thing at a time. In my class, you can learn two things all together in an easy and efficient way, Chinese (Mandarin) and math altogether. We can kill two birds with one stone! I am bilingual in English and Chinese.
I have lived and studied in China for more than 18 years. After that I moved to US, and I graduated from University of Washington in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Even though my major was in Accounting and Finance, I loved to teach whenever I had my spare time. When I was at college, I was a math tutor, and I also worked as a lab assistant in the UW language learning center for helping foreign students to learn English and Chinese.
I have been teaching on Outschool for over two years. I really enjoy teaching in this platform. I have tutoring experience with young learners, and I can also teach teenagers and pre-college students for math. After I graduated, I worked as a financial accountant in a non-for-profit organization for 5 years, and another three years with a private company. I am really good at math and Chinese. Do you want to join me? I love to teach. Let us have some fun and learn together. I am looking forward to seeing you in my classes soon!
