Class Experience

Basic math skills class designed for young learners ages 4 years- 6 years of age.

LESSON GOAL

* Each Learner will gain an understanding of pairs, two of a kind and counting by 2.

Learners will:
* learn that two of a kind is a pair. 
*discuss pairs as objects, and how the numeral two describes a pair.

Background knowledge: Students should be able to identify the numeral 2 and understand its quantity meaning. 
For example, this is the numeral 2, and I have 2 stickers.

Mrs. Mitchell has taught Early Childhood Educator for 14 years. She is experienced in teaching all ECE Subjects and Learning Concepts.

A handout for collage pictures will be provided. Learners will need to bring top class: Scissors or precut collage pictures, construction paper, glue

35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Scissors may be used for this class to cut out the materials for the pairs art collage. If your child uses scissors please be advised to use child safety scissors and closely monitor off camera your child's use of the scissors. If this is unavailable or your child is not able to use scissors independently, please precut the materials before class. Thank you
