Other Details
Parental Guidance
A parent should be available and parental discretion should be utilized as to whether the pet is safe to interact with. Also, sometimes students will ask questions that might go into different topics. I try to stay away from discussions about euthanasia and graphic topics, but I can not control what questions students might ask.
Supply List
If you have a pet that is safe to interact with, that’s great. If not, a medium-sized stuffed animal. For the 2nd class, a blanket or towel is helpful if you are working with a cat and treats are helpful if working with a dog. Toothbrush/pet toothpaste is also helpful if available as well as a soft pet comb or brush.
