Class Experience
In this one-time class, we will take a dive... looking from the surface and going deep down into the depths of the ocean. We will look at a variety of squid that can be found in the ocean, scouring the globe. Using a combination of lectures, slides, photos, videos, brainstorming, and other interactive activities we will learn about these fascinating animals. We will start by taking a brief look at the anatomy and physiology of squid, and how they are able to camouflage so well. They will also...
I hold an Associates Degree in Wildlife Education.
There will be optional printouts to reinforce facts and vocabulary learned. Includes a crossword puzzle, and search-a-word.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance not required.
