Students will be taught facts about pandas. First, we will discuss what we already know. Then, where pandas live, size, lifespan, what they eat, how they live, baby pandas, and what is causing the pandas to be threatened. Students will watch a short video clip of pandas. We then will discuss one thing they can take away and what they still want to know. Students can discuss and ask questions throughout the lesson. Learners can talk to each other and compare knowledge of what they already know and their experiences.

I am Teacher Jill! I teach science, art, and math classes! I have taught elementary school for 19 years. I have taught kindergarten, second, third, fourth , and fifth grades. `I have also taught homebound students part-time when my children were young . I still teach in a fifth grade classroom teaching science and social studies. I also have taught ESL on an online program. I love teaching in person and on line.
