What's included

1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hours per week
Homework
1 hour per week. Parents can write the letter of the week on index cards. Hide the index cards in the home and have their child attempt to find them. Once the child has found the index card, he/she should attempt to identify the letter and make the sound. He/She could then find a toy that begins with the same sound as the letter. For reviewing numbers, parents can write the number of the week on an index card. Find the number of toys to represent the number being shown on the card.

Class Experience

US Grade Preschool
ROAR! SSSSSS! CHOMP! TWEET! Join me and other preschool-aged friends as we learn the ABCs and numbers 1 through 10 at the zoo!
In this fun ongoing class, we will practice our letters and numbers as we take a look at all the fun and interesting animals. We will have
fun with counting, singing, and coloring together as we practice each of
the letters and numbers.
I love using two software: ManyCam and Canva with my camera to engage the students and show pictures for the understanding of the animals, letters, and numbers to keep them entertained while they learn.
As a homeschool mom/teacher for 35 years, I have loved creating original songs to help teach my children the curriculum and keep them engaged. I hope to provide the same loving and exciting classroom to your students as well.

I have taught for over 36 years, and have the confidence of teaching students at any age, especially elementary students. In special education, I continually taught students how to read and identify letters, letter sounds, and numbers. Secondly, I taught all four of my children from K-12th grade how to read, write and excel in all subject matter. For the past three years, I have taught students in English how to read as their second language and I find this exciting to hear them become very successful.

Professional Background:
I have a B.S. degree in Special Education. I taught special needs children ages 3 - 18 in the public school system for 9 years.
For over 20 years, I homeschooled my 4 children from pre-k - high school.
