Students will be able to learn and recognize two letters and one number in each class.
Homework Offered
Parents can write the letter of the week on index cards. Hide the index cards in the home and have their child attempt to find them. Once the child has found the index card, he/she should attempt to identify the letter and make the sound. He/She could then find a toy that begins with the same sound as the letter. For reviewing numbers, parents can write the number of the week on an index card. Find the number of toys to represent the number being shown on the card.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

For class, children should bring a toy or an object that begins with the letter sounds that we will be learning for the particular week. I will provide worksheets that the parents can print off for each lesson.
