This course is for someone who has no prior knowledge or limited exposure to American Sign Language (ASL) and wants to learn some of the basics of sign language. I have completed one semester as a Deaf-Blind interpreter. I am experienced using basic sign language skills such as the alphabet, and beginner vocabulary. I am not fully fluent in American Sign Language.
Students require a secondary device to play an interactive game of Kahoot.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
