Want to give this class a try? Use code LEARNIPFJG3 to save $3 today! Does your child love animals? Then they will love making their own Animals Around the World Book. Join me as I incorporate their love of animals into a fun and exciting class that also explores the continents and oceans of our earth. In this interactive class, I combine basic world geography with learning about some amazing animals. Each week, the class will begin with the students using their map (supplied by me) to find the continent or oceans we will be learning about. After locating the continent (map skills), I will share information about that continent or ocean, and four unique animals that live there. As an educational enrichment class, this class provides basic geography, basic map skills, science (animal classifications), and reasoning skills (teacher-directed questioning). During class, students will be shown a presentation, consisting of information on the continent and the animals we will learn about. Throughout the class, students will be engaged by teacher-directed questions and allowed to share their own personal knowledge of animals as well as a focus on critical thinking questions to engage their minds. Each week after class, students will receive a packet of information from the class to make their own Animals Around the World book. This packet includes the information about the continent (or oceans) we learned about and the animals that live there, along with pictures of the animals to cut and glue on the correct continent on their map. This will be a fun activity for families to do together and to have as a keepsake. After class, I also provide questions for you to engage your student with what they learned. There are 26 weeks of different animals as we visit each continent twice, different animals each time, and a few weeks of animals in our oceans. Your student is welcome to jump in and out as needed. As a teacher, you will find my classes to be fun as well as educational. I am a very friendly, kind, and encouraging teacher. Please note, I like to get to know my students so I do spend a few minutes at the beginning of each class asking them questions to help me get to know them. 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦
𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟~ Hi, I am the owner of Achieve Learning Partners, LLC. I hold a BS from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Louisville. I hold an internationally recognized TESOL certification and have taught ESL to children ages 3-16.
I love teaching and I love learning. I have been in the field of education for 30 years. In those 30+ years, I have taught, substituted, and owned a Sylvan Learning Center.
As a teacher, I have taught all academic subjects for elementary-age students and study skills to middle school, high school, and college students. I put my heart and soul into my students and classes. I work hard to meet students right where they are and scaffold my teaching to test student retention and base knowledge.
I love to make learning fun and engaging while also encouraging students to use their critical thinking skills. As a mother and teacher, I know it takes a village - teacher, parent, and student and I want to be part of your village.
More about me - I am a mother of two boys. I lived on the East Coast in Jacksonville, Florida for over 30 years. However, in the summer of 2020, my husband and I became empty nesters and took off on a new adventure as his job relocated us to Colorado. We are an active family that loves exploring the outdoors and all that comes with it from the animals to the topography.
I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader but have fallen in love with audio books that I can listen to ALL the time. Therefore, you will often find me hiking and listening to a book at the same time (enjoying two of my favorite things at one time).
I hope to see you in class soon. ~ Paige

While teaching and tutoring, I find the greatest joy in helping students master skills they previously found challenging by providing plenty of practice, encouragement from me, and making connections to what they are learning. I love providing my students with multiple opportunities to interact with new skills while also encouraging them to select learning strategies that work best for them and connect most to them along the way. An important part of learning anything new is a positive mindset and willingness to give your very best effort as you explore and practice - I am here to help!
My continuous goal will always be to help students grow their confidence, self-awareness, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills from class to class, learn from mistakes, stretch their thinking, and learn something new!
Although much of my time is spent teaching and tutoring, outside of the classroom I love spending time with my family - my husband, our sweet baby girl, and our spunky dog - as well as enjoying family hikes, curling up with a good book, practicing yoga, and baking new recipes for my family to try!
I can't wait to meet YOU and get to know you more as an individual and a learner!

not only feel a sense of belonging but also know that their unique perspectives and contributions
to learning are valued by myself and their peers. I make an effort to incorporate project-based

through facing challenges, taking chances, making mistakes, and learning through them.
