Playstyle dough is a simple, fun tool with many developmental, learning, and sensory benefits. Primarily it helps young children develop fine muscle control in their hands while stimulating the imagination and calming the senses. The goal of Learn With Dough is for learners to develop creativity, language, literacy, sensory, and fine motor control development—exposure to science and math concepts.
Miss Carolyn has been an Early Childhood Educator for over a decade, and she absolutely loves working with Preschoolers. She has helped many children learn about their big feelings and the world around them. Whether it be in English or French, Miss Carolyn delights in songs, stories, and conversations with young children. Together we can learn our ABCs, 123s, and everything in between with a few laughs along the way!
Learners will need Playstyle dough, cookie cutters, and a small rolling pin. Please ensure your learner has dough and accessories ready for the start of class.
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
If purchasing premade play-doh, it may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested by those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease. If making your own, please choose ingredients with the sensitivities of learners in mind.
