Learn the basics of voice over acting in this class. Each week we will discuss the technique of voice over, practice reading voice over scripts, and receiving feedback. If students have a particular piece of writing they would like to practice reading, they may bring it to class, but the teacher will provide real scripts for learners to read.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Kristen I am a performer, voice over actor, teacher, and videographer. I have the honor of being awarded the Music & Arts: Teacher Of The Year Award.
As a performer, I have traveled the world performing as a lead singer onboard Carnival Cruise Lines. I have worked on seven ships in their fleet and performed several genres of music on stage. I have also worked as an actor in New York City. I have auditioned and traveled around the United States for jobs performing in musicals. My favorite shows are Disney's Mary Poppins (Mary), South Pacific (Nellie), and She Loves Me (Amalia).
As a teacher, I am currently a music teacher at an academy. I have taught and hosted live and virtual classes in music, theatre, auditioning, and public speaking. My goal is to prepare students for their auditions and performances so they are not as nervous and feel confident in themselves.
As a videographer, I run a YouTube channel documenting my travels as a teacher and performer. Working online has taught me about video-story-telling, graphics, editing, and proper lighting.
