US Grade 1 - 4
Intermediate Level
Does your student want to practice writing sentences? Do they like Sonic the Hedgehog? Well this is the class for you! The students will go on an adventure with Sonic across the Starfall Islands. Sonic has mysteriously been stranded on these islands and has been given the task to rescue his friends Amy, Knuckles and Tails. The students will be shown 5 different images per lesson. The student will be asked to write a short story for each image which will result in a complete bigger story once the lesson is complete. After completing each image the student will be given a "key" that appears on the slide. After collecting four keys the students will get one of the famous Chaos Emeralds and be one step closer to rescuing his friends and uncovering the mystery of the Starfall Islands. It is strongly recommended that the students in this class are already able to write at an intermediate speed and feel comfortable with more detailed sentences. This way we can focus on writing sentences in class. As the course continues to progress the student will then learn to add more detail to their writing and practice their storytelling skills.
