This Spanish course is designed for beginners. You can quickly learn lots of words and sentences. Your learner will practice their Spanish listening skills, writing skills, speaking skills, and vocabulary with fun games!

Young learners absorb more information when they're having fun. There will be a variety of fun games in Spanish that we will play together and we'll even sing songs in Spanish with the guitar. These games will provide opportunities for the student to learn new vocabulary terms in Spanish, work on their speaking/pronunciation skills in Spanish, and also their writing skills for them to have in their notes so that they can practice on their own. Here is a break down of the course week by week: Week 1 We go over common greetings in Spanish. We play a singing game in Spanish with the guitar. We learn how to count the numbers in Spanish. We also play a game of counting X's and O's with the tic-tac-toe game. We learn the colors in Spanish. Week 2 The student will play a game where they can find objects that they have at home that match that same color. Review day! We study and practice the greetings that we learned, the numbers counting from 1 to 20, and also the different colors. We play a game called "Simon Dice" in Spanish (which is Simon Says). We examine different animal pictures and videos. We learn how to say animals in Spanish and also the students get to draw and color their favourite animal. Week 3 Food! We all love to enjoy different foods. We learn different foods in Spanish by looking at pictures and videos. The students will sing along with the teacher's guitar some lyrics that use the food vocabulary that they learned in Spanish. The students can also share what the popular food is in their Spanish culture. We practice learning the 7 days of the week. The student will have fun playing with flash cards what they've learned. The students will play a game called "papel, piedra, tijera" to enjoy a game in Spanish and continue their pronunciation skills. Review day! We practice reviewing the different words and concepts that we learned in Spanish throughout the month.
Learning Goals
Students will learn new vocabulary words in this class through fun games. By participating in these games they will improve their listening skills, speaking skills, writing skills, and improve their vocabulary knowledge.

Supply List
A notebook to take notes of new vocabulary words and phrases. There will be a drawing game as well so they can have some type of drawing/coloring tools as well.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2. I've been teaching for 20 years to small groups, large groups, and individual one-on-one classes. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science and Technology. I also have a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a foreign language.
