In this hands-on class I will walk learners through everything they need to get started sewing their own projects.

Day two: We will make a draw string bag. Learning basic rules of sewing-how to put right sides together, use a seam allowance, a simple hem, and threading the drawstring.

Day three: We will make a little fold over purse. Using an iron and working with
multi-step instructions.

Who is this class for?
This class is for young creatives who want to add sewing to their skill set. If you have a young person eager to get sewing, this class will set them on their way. The class size is capped at 6 students to make sure there is time for everyone and everyone gets the attention they need. I encourage learners to come together as a creative community and be encouraging with each other and support a creative atmosphere in class.

This is a wonderful class for young people who are creative and want to explore textiles. And it's also fine for beginner sewers who don't have a clue where to start.
Students of all skill levels and experience are welcome. I like to create an atmosphere of creative play and am here to make your sewing experience the best it can be.
