The most common beginning consonant blends include: bl, br, cl, cr, dr, fr, tr, fl, gl, gr, pl, pr, sl, sm, sp, and...
Each week students will accurately decode different words with blends or diagraphs.
The teacher is an elementary certified teacher and has her Masters in Reading and Literacy K-12.
Learners will need a pencil and paper or a dry erase board and marker to practice writing words. Students will receive a printable worksheet to practice at home after class.
Students will be informally assessed during the lesson.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
