Beginner Level
This accelerated learning course is an action packed adventure to kickstart your child's reading and language journey. Backed by current Science of Reading research, learner's thrive in knowledge when they are taught solid, foundation phonemic awareness skills. This course discusses the basic phonemic sounds of the 26 letters. In this collaborative learning course, learner's will meet in daily morning meetings to start their learning day affirming and routine. Each day, focusing on 1 vowel and 4-5 consonants per day. Following each live session, learners explore and complete the included daily application activities. These include worksheets, and real-world projects that can be done from the comfort of your own home! Learner's are encouraged to share their daily adventures and completed work on our class discussion page for group encouragement and inspiration for others. It is very important to come to class prepared, such as having already used the restroom prior, have a drink nearby, and a fixed learning space to reduce the need to step away during the live sessions. However, please come to class comfortable. For morning sessions, jammies ROCK and can be so comfortable. Please show up in what best represents your learner's learning style and makes them feel most confident! :) Please check the course materials for the list of items to have nearby, ready to go for the live sessions.
