In this ongoing class, students will learn how to decode, sound out, and blend words. This is an important and challenging foundational skill for beginner readers. They will learn how to sound out and blend consonants, vowels, CVC, CVCe, digraphs, word families, and more. We will also work on initial, ending, and middle sounds (which they do test on in school).
