Learn to Read: PreK and Kindergarten Sight Words & CVC Phonics Beginning Reading
This ongoing class is designed for learners that know most of the letters and letter sounds. Learners will combine letter skills to read, write, and spell CVC and sight words. ESL learners and learners of all abilities are welcome!

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
This ongoing class is designed for learners that want to learn to read. Learners must know most of the letters and letter sounds. This class focuses on letters and letter sounds to build words. Instruction is based off of word families. Learners will learn the word family first (-at, -en, -it, on, -ut, etc.) and then practice adding beginning letters to form words. Learners will also learn simple sight words to help develop sentences. Each week, learners will be provided with a worksheet to practice writing the words. This sheet can be turned into a book to practice words at home. During class, we will play games to help reinforce the skills! We focus on a different word family each week. The weeks are stand alone lessons so learners can join at any time!
