Beyond just recognizing letters and their sounds, students will embark on the next stage of their reading journey: blending sounds and mastering the addition of a third letter. Ideal for students already familiar with most letter sounds, this class dives deep into the art of blending consonant and vowel sounds together, progressing seamlessly to tackle CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. Guided by a skilled teacher, students will gain confidence in their ability to decode and read fluently. Join us and unlock the power of reading through engaging activities and supportive learning experience! The teacher will be available as needed for assistance or feedback.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to blend consonant and vowel sounds smoothly to pronounce CVC words accurately.By the end of the class, students will confidently integrate a third letter to form complete CVC words and enhance their reading fluency.

Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to recognize most if not all the letters by sight and know the sounds they make.
Supply List
Flashcards and worksheets will be provided for practice after class. No supplies are needed during class.
