Littlest Learners! Let's make learning letter sounds and blending fun and interactive:

Join a Certified Teacher🍎 for a fun, upbeat way to learn letter sounds and to blend 🥣, read 📚, and write 📝✏️ word families in this beginning phonics and writing class!

ESA and CHARTER FUNDS accepted in my classes! 💵
I am ESL & Special Education CERTIFIED so all learners are welcome!

=========================================================
This is a highly interactive, small group class that involves reading word families📚 AND together we will improve our fine motor skills with beginning writing of uppercase and lowercase letters!

Each class, we learn a new word family ending sound (Example: -en) that will help beginning readers to construct other CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CLASS CHOICE FOR A FIRST TIME ONLINE STUDENT!
=========================================================

My class is very warm and full of energy as I use 👀 visual, 🦻🏻auditory and 💪🏻 kinesthetic strategies (body motions for target words) to teach a new blend in each class period.

☑️Students will then listen to a short story 📖 and take turns to identify the target sound with the help of picture clues 🔎.

☑️Students will use their auditory 👂🏻 skills to identify images that contain the target sound, and eliminate images without the target sound.

☑️Students will learn the 5 vowels through song. 🎼Aa, Ee, Ii, Oo, Uu🎵

☑️Students will practice writing using proper letter formation with me on our optional picture/writing worksheet. 📜✏️ Then we will read those words that we have just written!

=========================================================

Class is conducted using a combination of colorful picture slides 🖼️ and a variety of kinesthetic activities 🏃🏻‍♂️ to help students stay engaged and to remember 🧠what they are learning!

I keep learners engaged by moving through varying activities designed to reach ALL learners, including ESL, special needs, and those with autism in a caring, 💓encouraging space.

=========================================================

This class is designed for pre-readers who can recognize some letters 🔠 and know some of the letter sounds 📢 but also works well for a complete beginner. Mastery is not necessary, as we will review letters and their sounds as we work.

This course highlights a different special sound each class period, to include:

🖍️ at, ag, op, ig, et, un, am, ed, og, it, ub, en, id, ot, ug, an, ip, eg, ob, um 🖍️

Everyone learns at a different pace; therefore, I have designed a writing worksheet 📜✏️to challenge strong writers, while ALSO meeting the needs of the newest writers.

It is always okay to finish the worksheet later if the writing pace is advanced for your learner!
=========================================================

This class is set up as group instruction with participation interspersed throughout the class time, and it is my goal to make your student feel like a million bucks 💲💵💰for their efforts and participation in my online class!

It is helpful if you teach your young learner how to use the MUTE/UNMUTE 🔕button themselves, if possible!
