In this one time class, your child will practice reading consonant-le words in isolation and in decodable texts to help build their reading fluency. Fluency is the ability to read words with automaticity, accuracy, and expression. Readers who don't read fluently often can have reading comprehension difficulties. This class is great for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade students. Students should have some exposure to reading words with consonant-le (ex: apple, crumble, pickle, etc ) and sight (High Frequency) words. Sample Class Format: 1. Letter Sound Warm up 2: Read Consonant-le words in isolation 3. Read a short decodable passage or book. This class is great for students who need to review their phonics skills including students with dyslexia and ESL students.
