Learn to Program - Private 1:1 Live Coding Sessions (Ages 6-18)

Programming can be a daunting field to wrap your heaed around, especially if you're new to computer coding in general. My goal with these lessons is to provide a positive learning experience for programers of all experience levels. Whether you're looking to write your first piece of code or interested in taking your skills to the next level, this class is for you!

Each lesson is individually designed to meet the learning needs of the student and aims to be a hands-on experience. Students will work alongside me as we explore different coding topics and reinforce each topic with live examples and demos. Learners will also have the option of completing 'out of class' worksheets, which help to promote critical thinking and problem solving skills. Worksheets reflect the lesson's topic and can be considered an optional extension of class material.

Since this course is listed as 'Ongoing', it means each student's experience will be unique. Not only do I offer a variety of topics at various levels of student experience, the number of sessions a student attends is entirely up to them. Whether you're looking for a 1-session brush up, a 6-session course or anything inbetween, flexible length classes have never been so easy! Upon registration, students will decide which of the following topics they'd like to pursue;
> Python
> HTML/CSS
> GameMaker (GameMaker Language & Drag and Drop)
> Unity (Coded in C#)
> Scratch
> AppInventor
