Want to play an easy, fun, relatively inexpensive instrument but don't know how to start? Looking for a new hobby but need some direction from an expert? This six-week class is designed for beginning ukulele players hoping to kickstart their playing. Over the six weeks, we will learn the history of the ukulele, ukulele anatomy, how to hold and strum the ukulele properly, how to play multiple chords on the ukulele, and how to play at least three songs. This class is taught in English.
There is no exact homework for this class, but practicing chords between class meetings is HIGHLY encouraged.
Must have a ukulele (soprano ukulele works for most students) Must have access to a tuner (or a tuning app)
