Learn to Play the Nuvo Toot - It's a Recorder That Plays Like a Flute!
Class experience
Learning to play a musical instrument is difficult - there are so many things to learn at once. How to read notes, key signatures, time signatures, dynamics, tempos, and so many other details. It can be overwhelming, and because of that, many promising instrumental music students drop out after the first year. This class paves the way for a more successful experience. Students will learn the basic necessities of playing an instrument, without all the technicalities that can lead to failure....
Students will learn to read music notes, finger those notes, and how to keep rhythms. By the end of the 10 weeks, they should be able to play two or three simple songs.

Students will need their NUVO TOOT before the first class. (Note: Nuvo makes a few different instruments that look very similar. Be sure to get a TOOT only.) Students need a clean, soft cloth to clean their instruments.
