Learn to Play the Harp!!
Learn to play the most beautiful instrument ever by taking weekly, private lessons. #creative
Each week, students will learn to read music, how to find and properly play that music on their harp and how to play rhythm. There is no need to know how to read music before signing up for lessons. If you CAN read music, that's great too! All levels of music knowledge are welcome. I customize each lesson for the student and their abilities. For children, I also include music games to help make the lesson more enjoyable. Each lesson is 30 minutes. We will cover what the student has...

Reading the bass clef and how to play it on the harp. Play a song with your left hand. January 19, 2022. Week 4: Learning to read treble clef and bass clef together. Play a song with both hands.
I have been teaching music and harp since 1999. Many of my students have gone on to play in orchestras, become music therapists and continue to play for their enjoyment into adulthood. I have Montessori training and have taught music at Montessori schools. I have also taught at Michigan Conservatory since 2000.
Homework OfferedStudents will be expected to practice a minimum of ten minutes per day every day outside of weekly lessons.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments OfferedMy goal is that each student fall in love with music and playing the harp. I can do assessments if students are homeschooled and need music credit. I also can give grade assessments for high school students applying to music fields at university.
Students will require a harp of some kind to practice with between lessons. Anyone wanting the music I've been sending all in one place, I've made it into an ebook. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4KSBTYW No obligation. I can still send photos of the music each week. But if you want an ebook to make it easier, there it is.
Students will be required to purchase a book once I assess their musical knowledge level. Beginners can get the music I have written as an ebook here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4KSBTYW No obligation. I can still send photos of the music each week. But if you want an ebook to make it easier, there it is.
