Ready to learn how to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game? Join this tutorial to get set up and learn how to play online. This class is a one-off or suggested precursor to joining our Pokemon Social Club. 

In Learn to Play: Pokemon Trading Card Game, students will learn the foundational rules of the Pokemon TCG, download and register for the game online (with the help of a parent), and get oriented for future sessions in the Social Club.

This is a one-off 60 minute class wherein we learn the game, figure out technical setup, and then just chat about Pokemon and how to play the game with fun, fairness, honesty, respect, sportsmanship, and learning!

~ Basic Rules of Pokemon TCG: Learn the fundamental rules and mechanics of the game. 

~ Technical Setup: Download and Sign up for the app: Pokémon TCG Live.

~ Introduce the Social Club: Set rules and expectations for future Social Club interaction.

Parental Guidance
The Pokemon Company has created a child friendly application with no built-in chat application. The application is rated E for Everyone. First-time Pokémon TCG Live players can begin by signing up for a Pokémon Trainer Club account. From there, download Pokémon TCG Live. When you log in the first time, the game will guide you through the setup process. This first session requires a successful Email Confirmation during the process of creating a Pokemon Trainer Club account on Pokemon.com. Students who are less than 13 years old should have a parent help them complete this process.
Pre-Requisites
Children should enter class with a 4th grade ability to perform simple arithmetic and read English.
