In the beginning of the class we will learn or review (if students already know) the finger numbers, music alphabet, and the names of the white keys on the piano Then we will go over the rhythm patterns in Jingle Bells song. After the teacher demonstrates how to play Jingle Bells, students will practice playing it with one hand at a time. We will start with the right hand and then play with the left hand. If time permits, we will try playing with both hands together as a challenge. Towards the end of the class we will play a game to reinforce naming the white keys and finding them on the piano by playing a game where students will draw a snowman. All the worksheets will be provided. Students will need to have the access to the piano or piano keyboard.
