This guitar course is perfect for young learners who are on the beginner level. We will learn some standard guitar chords, how to play our first songs on the guitar, and engage with other students who are starting the same guitar journey.

Beginner Level
This guitar course is for beginners. Your young learner will meet twice a week with the teacher and the other students. Each lesson will begin by reviewing what was learned in the previous class and it will then move on to something new. Throughout the weeks the students will learn some basic guitar chords, different strumming patterns, and how to play their first songs on the guitar. My teaching style is fun, energetic, and encouraging.

Syllabus
8 Lessons
over 4 WeeksLesson 1:
Meet and greet
Students will get to know the teacher and also get to know one another. They also review different parts that form the guitar instrument, how to properly hold the guitar, and how to avoid common mistakes. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Learn your first guitar chords
Students are introduced to their first guitar chords. They learn how to identify the finger positioning and how to strum these chords. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Learn how to switch between chords
Students understand that playing the guitar is all about switching from one chord to the next. This is practiced throughout the class on an individual level and also as a group. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Practice your first song
The standard guitar chords that have been learned thus far will appear in the first song from this course. Students will see how they can play a song with these few chords that they've mastered. 25 mins online live lesson

1. Hello, my name is Teacher Sean. I teach classes of Spanish, Guitar, and Keyboard Typing. I even teach free Bible classes during my free time. I love to teach.
2. I've been teaching for 20 years to small groups, large groups, and individual one-on-one classes. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science and Technology. I also have a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a foreign language.
