The Olympics are here! The Olympics are here! In this three-week course, we're going to learn how to draw Olympic athletes in action as they participate in the Winter sports: Ski jumping, cross-country skiing, bobsleigh, snowboarding, figure ice skating and curling. Every class we will focus on drawing one Olympic sport with step-by-step instructions using lines and shapes to create each figure. Then, we will put our Olympian in a background scene that matches the sport they are participating...
Students will learn to have patience with themselves when it comes to drawing, especially if they mess up and make a mistake. They are expected to try their very best, but should not expect their artwork to be perfect as drawing is a skilled that needs years to develop and master.
