Learn To Draw Warrior Cats - Ongoing Course / Summer Camp
What's included
2 live meetings
2 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this ongoing course, young artists will learn how to draw different cats from the Warrior Cats book series. I will check that each student is present and then the remaining duration of class we will be for drawing. After we are finished with our drawings, depending on the speed of the class, we will then move on to coloring. Students are welcomed to use any kind of coloring supplies after we’re done. My teaching style is patient, fun and encouraging. I am known for my ability to translate drawing techniques into simple concepts for my students to grasp thus leaving them with a sense “mastery” when the drawing is completed. My main concern, outside of teaching, is that each student is confident and comfortable. No experience is needed for this class. Students who have a love for Warrior Cats, Cats and Manga style art are welcomed and should expect to have a creative space where they can express their artistic abilities and engage with students with like-minded interests. Teacher expertise and credentials
I teach art classes for all ages and experience levels. My drawing styles include semi realistic, anime and Kawaii.
I have been drawing every since I was young and have had the pleasure to work on a couple of freelance projects over the years for musicians, authors and personal requests. Outside of my love for art, I am a mother, an Army Vet and an ESL teacher. My techniques are broken down to the simplest form in order to help every student understand how to create art. I believe drawing is a beautiful ability that everyone possesses. This ability allows a person to express something invisible from their imagination into something tangible that they can kept forever. The feeling of completing an art piece is amazing in itself. Unlocking those abilities in others is something I love doing. I like to view my personality as patient, understanding and fun. It’s important to me that these qualities are conveyed in class to help children feel comfortable and confident in what they’re doing.
