I am a fully qualified art teacher living in the UK. I taught in secondary school and 6th form college for over 12 years specialising in Art and Design, Fine Art, Graphics and Textiles.

These days I teach younger children (age 7 to 12) both face to face and online. It’s wonderful not being bound by the constrains of a school curriculum so I design projects around what skills the children will learn, what they will enjoy and what will make them feel good about themselves. It’s important to me that the children have fun, love their creations and build their confidence through art.
You will need: > A stick > Some ink or watered down black paint > A couple of black pens of different thicknesses (e.g a marker pen, felt tip pen, fine liner, sharpie, biro, brush pen) > A4 paper (preferably drawing paper like cartridge paper) > A paint brush if you have one to hand but it is not essential for this class
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
