Learn to Draw: Super Cool Animal Mashup Drawing Adventure!

Hey there, creative kiddos! Are you ready for a super fun adventure where you get to mix and match animals to create your own amazing creatures? Well, you're in the right place! In this ongoing class, we're going to let our imaginations run wild and create some wild and wacky animal mashups! Each week, I’ll present a new mashup for us to draw for that class. 

Class Highlights:

• Discover the World of Mashups: We'll start by exploring the concept of animal mashups and look at the example for that class. From griffins to jackalopes, the possibilities are endless!
• Drawing Skills: Learn the basics of sketching and drawing animals. We'll cover basic drawing techniques to help you create a solid foundation for your mashup.
• Imagination Unleashed: We'll let our creativity run wild as we experiment with different animal combinations. Want to mix a tiger with a dolphin? How about a giraffe with a dragon? The choices are endless!
• Character Development: Develop your mashup creature's personality and backstory. What does it eat? Where does it live? What special abilities does it have? This step adds depth and fun to your creation.
• Sharing and Feedback: Share your mashup drawings with the class and receive constructive feedback from fellow artists. We'll start by learning what "animal mashups" are and look at some really cool examples. I'll teach you the ABCs of drawing animals. You'll learn how to draw different animal parts, like paws, beaks, and tails. It's like building your very own animal puzzle!

• We'll meet weekly, allowing you to build your skills and create a collection of drawings over time.
• Our live sessions will be interactive, with step-by-step guidance from the instructor.

Throughout the class, we’ll take time to discuss some fun details about our creature. Each one has a story. We'll discuss where your mashup lives, what it eats, and what makes it special. It's like creating your very own superhero! If time permits toward the end of class, we can start coloring our new mashup. If not, you can color on your own after class.

At the end of our adventure, we'll save some time to have a special showcase where you can show off your awesome mashup creatures if you choose! Got your own wacky idea for a mashup?
