Learn to Draw Realism
Realism can be difficult for some young artists to achieve. These lessons are designed to enhance sketching talents and help students to learn how to efficiently sketch realistic drawings.
Class Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
This class is set up as private one on one tutoring sessions, designed based on each students' individual needs. Sessions will consist of techniques, to help the student to draw realism. Realism describes works that are painted so realistically that they mimic a photograph. The sessions are structured according to the student's artistic level and shaped to enhance them. - To help students to improve on their drawing skills and learn techniques to do so.
- Students will learn how to blend, shape skin tone, appropriate proportions and dimensions.
I have an Associate Degree in Arts from Hopkinsville Community College and am currently attending the University of Western Kentucky to obtain my bachelor's degree in health sciences. I own an art gallery and have been an artist for over 20 years. I have worked with kids for a great deal of my life. Awarded most outstanding camp counselor at Oakland City camp best friends in Atlanta, Georgia. I have written and published many children's books as well.

This class is structured to make learning easy and fun for students with unique learning needs. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The class is spoken in an interactive manner.
Students should have basic art knowledge, such as the usage of different types of pencils, paper and proportions.
Sketchbook or blank white paper. Shaded paper is also acceptable. Graphite pencils of varying types, such as 2b, f or 5h. Erasers, Q-Tip's, toilet paper and other shading products.
Will reference pictures of faces and animals, for students to base their realism on.
