In this ongoing class students will learn how to draw wolves and wolf pups step-by-step. Each week we will focus in on a particular wolf species, learn to draw them step-by-step and then continue with shading and coloring techniques. For more advanced learners, water colors and acrylic paints may be used. Each of our wolves will be sketched step-by-step slowly to the learners pace. We will chose different poses and discuss wolf behavior throughout the course. Learners may join at any time during this ongoing class as no experience is necessary. At the end, learners will have four awesome wolf drawings including one of young wolf pups. Learners are always encouraged to share their art in the classroom. Week One: June 1 - Wolf Howling in Arctic Week Two June 8 - Sitting Red Wolf Week Three June 15 - Hunting Mexican Wolf Week Four June 22 - Wolf Pups If students are simply pencil sketching or using pencil crayons or markers to color in their wolves they may finish before other students and are encouraged to draw more wolves or a background. If they chose to use watercolor, acrylic or oil paints, this may take them a bit longer and they may not finish their artwork in class but are encouraged to finish and show their work in the following class. As a result of a mixed class size, a varied use of art mediums and of course ability our classes may either be shortened or go over the allotted time.
