Students will learn how to draw video game characters from the game "Minecraft". They will be learning by instruction using a simplified line drawing for 3-4 characters depending on how fast the class is moving along. I will instruct the drawings step by step to get all the features in place, and then one we have a couple line drawings, they can color their pet drawings with colored pencils, crayons or markers after the class is over. Students are encouraged to ask questions and interact with me anytime they need to I like to create a fun and casual environment during my classes No drawing experience necessary
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to create a line drawing through step by step instruction. Proportion, line, and spacing will be the elements focused on. In addition, students will get practice with their drawing skills by using sketching techniques to help create their characters.
