Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Learn to Draw Maze Art (Drawing Animals) is a ongoing course open to all levels of art suitable for ages 9-15. Classes begin with a brief warm-up and introduction. Each class will feature a specific animal that I will create a maze drawing from. The main lesson, a live drawing demo where learners will be able to see my face as well as follow the progress of my drawing hand on Zoom or work ahead during the demonstration.

Students will have opportunity to ask questions and get feedback during class as well as the last 10 minutes dedicated toward critic. This class will introduce students to overcoming the fear of drawing (not erasing) and building a daily drawing habit. Learners can ask specific questions for their specific art experience. This course gives learners a introduction into maze art and how to create working pieces of art. During the drawing I will discuss practical techniques for improved drawing, tactics for increasing daily practice.

Learners will also learn about the animal during while drawing. I will discuss the animals diet, habitat, predators and conservation ideas if the animal is endangered.
