If you love kawaii art and fun food themed illustrations, this is the perfect drawing class for you! In this one-time class, we will learn to draw a set of two houses that are dessert and fruit themed - perfect for small creatures like frogs or fairies! We will draw the houses and the area around them so you have a completed work of art. I will guide students with simple, step-by-step directions on how to start their houses. After we complete the basics, I will offer suggestions and inspiration and then students will get to pick what style of dessert and fruit that they want to create. Students can pick any fruit and any flavor for their dessert. I’ll provide several different examples for the houses and all the extra details like windows, doors, pathways, etc.  Everyone will get to choose how to add on to the design and then will work independently to personalize their art and bring their unique designs to life. I’ll offer more guided instruction for students who need more direction. Creativity is important so I encourage students to make their artwork fun and unique to them in some way. Remember, your artwork doesn't have to look like mine! You can be as creative as you wish. The amount of time we have to decorate and color our drawings will vary depending on what speed we move through the lesson as a class. I always work alongside students with my drawing on a separate camera so the instructions are very clear. All learners will be expected to remain muted during the first chunk of instruction and demonstrations so that everyone can listen to and understand the steps. However, once we finish the basic drawing, students will be able to chat with each other and share their artwork as they work on adding their own details, color, and finishing touches. Students will only need a basic understanding of working with a pencil and eraser to complete this class.
